1. Introduction

Hightop Games LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Daily Reword (the "App") on iOS, Android, or web.

2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to provide the App, deliver daily puzzle content, and improve the experience.

Specifically, we may collect or process:

Device and local progress: Game state, daily progress, and session data are stored primarily on your device (e.g., via local storage or device preferences). This allows the App to restore your progress when you return.
Content delivery: When the App fetches daily puzzle content or schedule updates from our servers or a content-delivery service (e.g., Firebase), we or that service may receive minimal technical data such as app version, request timestamps, or region/country to serve the correct content. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Optional account information: If we offer optional sign-in in the future (e.g., Sign in with Apple), we would receive only the identifiers or information provided by that provider in accordance with your choices. We do not currently require an account to play.
Analytics (if any): If we use analytics (e.g., to understand usage or fix issues), we use anonymous or aggregated data such as session length, device type, or general region. We do not sell or use this data to identify you.

We do not collect personal location data, contact lists, or camera/microphone data. The App is designed to be playable without creating an account or providing personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

Provide and maintain gameplay and daily puzzle content
Deliver correct puzzle schedules and content to your app version
Improve the App and fix technical issues
Comply with law or protect our rights

We do not sell or rent your information.

4. Third-Party Services

Daily Reword may use the following types of third-party services:

Content delivery / configuration: Daily puzzle data and schedule updates may be delivered via hosted configuration or content-delivery services (e.g., Firebase). Their processing is governed by their privacy policies (e.g., Google Privacy Policy for Firebase).
App distribution: If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms process your download and any in-app purchase transactions under their own privacy and payment terms (Apple, Google).
Optional sign-in (if offered): If we add optional sign-in (e.g., Sign in with Apple), that provider's privacy policy will apply to the data they share with us.

These services collect and process data in accordance with their own policies.

5. Data Retention and Security

On your device: Progress and game state are stored on your device. You can clear them by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
On our or our providers' systems: We retain only what is necessary to deliver content, operate the App, or comply with law. We do not retain identifiable personal data beyond what is needed for these purposes.
We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

6. Children's Privacy

Daily Reword is intended for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Local data: You can clear App data via your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Questions or deletion requests: For questions about your data, or to request deletion of any data we hold, contact us at privacy@hightopgames.com.
If we offer optional account features in the future, you may manage sign-in and data through the relevant provider (e.g., Apple ID for Sign in with Apple).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website, and the effective date will be revised accordingly.
